Family Gathering

Talk about my family gathering, it can be the most funniest shit, or it can be the most annoying shit ever...

but still it's part of the culture and it can be the most dramatically interesting ever.

-cousins
-strangers which turned out to be your long lost cousin
-friends which then turned out to be you cousin as well...
-old men which is errrr....
-brats
-karaoke
-barbecue
-picture picture picture!
-beer
-liquor
-aarrgghh!! any kinds of alcoholic drinks!

like most of the times, some of the parents (ow mother! ow auntie!) love to compare their children with other children of how good or how bad their grades is in school/college/university or even in the working life now (in certain way but still..)

comparing of how much of a badass, creative, smartass and successful their child is, when they start talking bout money or business....the conversation will turn out to be fucked up and complicated, everyone will start going greedy....

the karaoke! omg...the most funniest shit ever when some drunk old man and young adults start singing something that even they can't spit it right, everyone is hella DRUNK!

no beer/liquor no kinship..the hell... there was once i was asked by some old man,

"hey, come drink with us!"

me said, "NO THANKS, me don't drink those stuffs"

"WHAT?! if you can't drink then don't say you are part of OUR PEOPLE!"

orang bilang 'orang kita' bah

"Wait kid?! how ol are yu??"

"18...."(that was two years ago)

"whaaattt??! my son already start drinking when he was 12!!"

WTF dude?! what kind of a father are you supporting your underage son to drink that stuff?!

the most annoying thing is when everyone are more into 'honor before reason' kind of attitude.

"DON'T DISHONOR THE CULTURE!!"

ow gawd...

The whole place just smell like #@$@#$@#$@#$@#$#@$.......!

this is the most common family gathering that i've attend all this time, it can be 'informal' or 'formal' way of family gathering.

I bet some youngsters don't like attending their family gathering but not all though like me(sometimes)

well anyway this is one of the way to know more about your family and your long lost cousins.

crita pada hari ini (Sabtu, 10 Disember 2011)...

hari ni macam hari lain biasa, penat mau mampos, dan lepas siap keja dan budak shift petang datang ja, kami yang shift pagi lari p mall 1Borneo trus!

buat apa?

mau pergi main bowling.

tapi tidak sempat pla...sebab hari ni kami ada perlawanan persabahatan sekali lagi dengan TLDM (tentera laut agak2 la) dalam acara bowling, memanah, dan meja bola? (main poll orang kata).

sy cuma jadi penonton ja, sambil duduk dengan relaxnya di tempat duduk dewan memanah tadi, tiba-tiba...

"NADIA!! sila ambil tempat..."

*semua orang cari tu orang*

"siapa boleh gantikan dia?"

*semua orang dari food & beverage department tengok sy*

*tolak sy*

"guna ja ni budak bos"

....MMMMMMMM?????....tak sempat sy larikan diri, baju sy sudah kena tarik oleh 3 orang.

wow! punya main hebat! kali pertama sy memanah, panah sy terbang pergi ke kertas blok sasaran orang lain, kena di bahagian warna merah lagi tu!

semua orang yg duduk dan berdiri kat sana ketawa bukan main lagi.

kali kedua, panah ku tersasar ke bahagian warna hitam, ni kali di tempat blok sasaran sendiri.

ketawa lagi dorang sana belakang...

kali ketiga, terkena di tempat yang sama, blok sasaran sendiri, di bahagian warna hitam, di panah yang kedua tadi! sehingga panah kedua sy tadi tercabut keluar!

kerasukan dah semua orang.

akhirnya sy balik semula ke hotel, ada barbecue di tempat swimming pool hotel sebagai acara penutupan untuk perlawanan persahabatan pada hari ini dan...

hari tu kami kalah lawan TLDM di tempat mereka dalam acara bola sepak dan bola tampar, tapi kali ni dorang kalah di tempat kami! di 1Borneo hypermall! WAHAHAHA!!

people just can't ignore it when it comes to catchphrases (more like a slang) until it has becoming a culture in the workplace, well...not just in the workplace but in any types of organization and some part of the society??!! ow hell...

some of the most popular catchphrases(or slang?):------------------------>>>

1. "It's over 5MILLION!!!"

-well since we work in the kitchen, in a hotel's kitchen, everyday there will always someone asking, "how many pax are we going to serve today/tonight?".

then someone who seems tired and stress from working will answer with this, sarcastically.

2."ENUUUUFFFFFFFFFFF"(enough)

-popularized by our head chef after having a i-don't-know-what-kind-of-word war with the bouquet manager, he was such a cranky chef with no love from his staffs in the kitchen.

so when someone ask, "how many pax are we going to serve today/tonight?"

you know what happen next......

ENUUUUUUUUUUUUUUFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3. "COSSSS"

-i don't know what that mean is but i do know that they will always use this word as an affix to someone's name like 'virut-coss' for example, the first time i heard this i felt weird all of a sudden. Have i became a SAUCE??

4. "YES SOSSSS!!!!"

-instead of saying "yes sir", they say this. I know lar this place got so many types of sauce they can make.

actually it was popularized by me since im a too agreeable person in there.

5. "PLASTIC WRAPPPP!!!!"

-lol! every kitchen section hates it when someone from other kitchen section stole their plastic wrap. So when someone start shouting this, all the kitchen sections will start hiding their plastic wrap.

From Idealism to Realism to Cynicism

When i was young, everything seems to be bright and warm, i really like the feeling, such beautiful imagination, well kids do good at imagine things. Those warm-hearted treatments i got when i was a kid made me thought that the world was such a wonderful place to ever live, hoping that it won't change, even the cartoon for kids taught me that.

As i'm growing up i faced betrayal, man's ignorance, hypocrisy, violence, and injustice. I started to think that all i've been taught and told to believe was all just a façade to hide the real and dark world, as if i was half asleep all this time, never try to understand the real thing that is happening in our world.

I started to realize some things, as a human i understand that we all have our own free will of what we wanna be and going to be, pride and ego play most of the parts, there will be no one that has no EGO, everyone wants to be recognized, hate being let down, and always wanna go up and up, and there you have it, selfishness is then created and all the other sins just because of man's pride. Such a wonderful cynical life.

Lastly, try to look at yourself in the mirror.

Karate Tournament in SARAWAK!

Yep! tha event was held at Hockien Hall, Bintulu, Sarawak.

There were more than 200 participants including me during that day.

and there were 12 of us from Sabah team joined the tournament, and i just can't believe our 'BEST FRIEND' or should i say the KL team also went to the tournament and i was like ow well...WTF!

oki the story is like this...~~

On 15th September, me and the other 3 karateka siblings from M.A.S.K Sabah with their mother arrived at Bintulu airport around 2pm something then straight to H5 inn,

"YO!! WASSUP SABAH TEAM!! welcome! welcome to Bintulu! WACHAAAA!!!!", the restaurant owner greets us after we arrived at H5 inn which is just next to their restaurant.

"Don't forget to eat at my restaurant ah?!"

"ow yeah...SURE!", my only thought that day is to eat, eat and EAT after i got there.

I gotta say..it was VERY BORING here, WHY?

cuz we can't go much farther from the hotel site, got no car? how to go to other places aside from where we're staying? haiyaaa!!!

and me also forgot to bring along my laptop...seriously it was hellishly boring that time,

aside from jogging, eating and sleeping, me continuously watching these three siblings arguing and head aching their mother,

there was one time i order a lamb chop with black pepper sauce on it via room service, and the brats' mother said,

"don't eat the lamb chop! it will give you fever!"

sorry didn't mean to be smart here but just where the hell did she comes up with that theory?? i ordered it with my own money by the way.

YES! i was staying with the same room as them in that one day only after we arrived cuz actually we got sponsored by some 'Dato' dude for the tournament thingy but the sponsor only covered for 2 nights staying at a hotel/inn at Bintulu which starting on the 16th - 17th and we got there on 15th. BAGOS! Sepa suruh tidak pandai sabar mau cuti!

The welcome dinner food was a BLAST! delicious but the musician and the hip hop? dancers were...err...it was humorous! i was laughing my ass off! it was so bad in a good way! lolz!

The tournament day! oki i'll make it quick kay, our team only got 1 gold and the rest got silver including me, and ow! 1 bronze...sux..

i can't believe i lose just bcuz of diarrhea, yeah..i got diarrhea during my sparring match, i almost lose during the semi-final as well...ow man so many people have to take down! at last i can't hold my fucked up stomach already during the final, EPIC FAILED! lulz!

the very last match was EPIC! which is between a karateka from KL against a Goshin Ryu fighter from Sarawak (i don't know from which region), as well as the second last match between KL team against Sabah team in the final match (male sparring match).

one of our member also helping the KL team by joining their sparring team match(female) which needed to have 3 karateka in it.

and lastly, the KL team won the overall match! Congratulation! someday i'm not gonna lose again! pfftt...

i hope i won't get diarrhea again, and never eat a lamb chop with black pepper sauce before the match.
