What do you think of EGO

It's a bad thing! uh oohh!

Actually it's not really a bad thing but it can get worse cuz it can affect our mind and overall life if not being proper control.

Most people would say,

"GOSH!!! he/she is so egoistic who only knows to brag!...budu punya orang"

that indictment is just too simple, and don't you think the way the person who got mad at the bragger is the same in some way as well?

No one is born EGOISTIC, nobody.

But then, the moment the mother or parents started to pamper and love the child, the little thing- i mean the baby feeling good with all those pampering and love...

THUS EGO IS BORN

Everyone love being nurture and wanna feels good and secure, and that is what makes most people's goal in life the so-called 'The Pursue of Happiness'.

As we grow in life, we're being matured by the ongoing stimulus that we receive everyday and we all still want to feel good in any way by achieving success, get more money, power, leadership, physical beauty and superiority, glamor...etc and without us realize, it raise our EGO.

"Humans will never feel satisfy, they will always want more just for the sake of their pleasure."

From that on, it then becomes part of our life.

and you think it's not difficult to control it? You think you're not part of those egoistic society? Then answer these questions;

Do you love being criticized?

and will you ever accept critic?

or perhaps you're the one who criticize other?

Like i said, everyone is EGO, but EGO is not always portray as a bad image in person's life. It can help boosting one's moral and confident. It can also acted as a defense mechanism to ensure survival.

But once a person get too much praise, too much success, there's lie a feeling of insecurity. They will started to think,

"Can i achieve that? can i achieve this? what if i fail? what if i can't"

An arrogant people will hide all these feeling by not bothering it, being uncaring and selfish.

If i can't have it! No one can!

Egoistic people hate being put beneath other people, but instead they like putting other beneath them. They do realize it, and don't give a shit about it anyway.

Arrogant people are loner

Love yourself makes you a loner, imagine that all ur friends are self-loving bunch.

These are the common traits of an EGOISTIC people;

-inflexibility
-rigidity
-uncompromising
-not bothered
-uncaring
-ignoring attitude
-selfish

As we go on in life, these become important characteristics of our personality dynamics. Slowly life becomes hell when ever there is a U turn. Most turn mental wrecks because they would not lower their ego levels and thus become loners.

Egoistic have great difficulty in maintaining and developing relationships (because of those traits above),

team working, extending and receiving cooperation. They always feel they are right. Their ego does not allow them to accept mistakes or tender apologies.

Being arrogant is not always gonna make you cool, but do we realize that?

"yea~ so what?"

Loving yourself is good but thinking that you are the best is...errgghh...

there is a very thin line between 'pride and ego.' The former helps and motivates the latter leads to downfall and ultimate destruction.
